If everyone responded back to the scammers that send the "Nigerian Prince wants to send you money" and "Lottery" emails with fake information, wouldn't this bog down their system by making them have to try to figure out who is giving them real info?

No... in the case of that kind of scam, it is always better to put them on iggy and never even address them at all!

Respond back and they are aware that they have hit a real email addy, and many of them sell addy's or share them, you will wind up being bogged down.
