  • When I got divorced in 2005 and moved from England to the US, I left behind most of my books, which numbered over 1,000 (as well as many more of my possessions). I've just started buying the odd book now and again, as I don't have much time to read nowadays.
  • Increasing
  • i try to keep it level at a ridiculous amount, buying lots giving away lots. It changes drastically when you have to move, believe me.
  • Increases every few months.
  • been pretty stable the last few months but come winter time it will be decreasing... I inherited quite a selection from my grandparents but little of which I think I will read and I am out of firewood
  • Reducing, I sold a lot of them because it was just getting ridiculous. I knew I would never read many of them again. Now I'm trying to be frugal and just use my good old library card, so back they go when I'm done.
  • I was unaware that it is possible to reduce the number of books in one's library. I don't believe I am emotionally capable of such a thing...:-D....
  • I've never EVER gotten rid of a single book I've read. I'm up to 4 now.
  • Increasing....always increasing:)
  • I have been reducing the number of books. I recently got rid of about 2000. I normally have the books I want to read scanned so my personal library is much less useful. Eventually I will build the library back up electronically.
  • Always increasing but within the last couple of months at a slower pace. However, I did purchase two new books this month. I just no longer have the disposable income. Plus, I already have over 1,000 books in my collection with about 40% of the books not read yet.
  • I used to have quite a few, but since I got hooked on the net it is hard to remember what one looks like. Ha ha just kidding. but definately getting smaller.
  • All my books are electronic data books. They were older versions thrown out when we got new ones at work. I have several hundred. I don't get any anymore, i'm retired. I would never get rid of any till they put me in a home or i die.
  • Increasing. The only books I ever buy are reference books, and I've got to keep those around because who knows when I may need to look up something. Novels only get one or two readings before they outlive their usefulness.
