  • I know... GULP* Just when you think that it can't possibly get worse than Bush!
  • Wow. Two pit bulls in the same ring. Isn't that illegal?
  • Section 2 of the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution (the 25th Amendment covers the Presidential line of succession) provides that "Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress." This means that the vice-president isn't automatically the "next person in line", but rather whomever Palin can appoint to the post of vice-president that can be approved by a majority of both houses of Congress. While this could be Rep. Nancy Pelosi, the possibility isn't limited to her. For example, Palin would have her work cut out for her trying to get anything done with a Democrat majority in both houses of Congress. She could make a politically expedient appointment (such as Hillary Rodham Clinton) to get a bill passed in Congress.
  • I don't think secretary pelosi will play any part in this. She will never be at the adult table.
  • It would literally be a minstrel show.
