Mine have basically remained the same.

I'm fairly consistent. They've stayed the same as far as I can tell.

Basically remained the same... I think my debating skills have improved slightly...

I have lacked terribly in early formal education. I had undiagnosed learning problems that went ignored and it hurt me horribly in life. I never attempted to correct them with the understanding that people do have certain hang-ups about it because they themselves had to suffer through the time and efforts that it took to complete them and commit them to memory so why shouldn't everyone else too? Well I don't think along those lines so... it set's me up for ridicule more often than not, but as the Japanese like to say, "One can only do the best he can do." I speak 3 languages and can converse on a basic level in a few more so... For everything that we are lacking in, we compensate for it elsewhere. I do the bast I can do and it is good enough for me. I like to think of it more as I have the ability to screw up the spelling and grammar in 3 different languages! How many people can say that?

Yes, I would think I have become a "better writer" because of my involvement in the Q & A on AB. I am confident my skills would further improve in the future. I always have a dictionary on my table to enable me to check on my grammar and spelling.

I hope they have improved a little.

It helped a bit, as I'm pretty horrible in English, and I also learned where apostrophes in English are supposed to go lol, not to mention a whole lot of online slang and the like I seem to find myself using now. I NEVER used ''lol'' and ''omg'' before...not that THAT should be part of anyone's proper spelling repertoire but, I think I did improve slightly otherwise. Should have seen about a year ago how my spelling looked like lol.

It has helped me with some of my spelling, but everything else has stayed the same, or even gotten worse. It's difficult for me to write in my English class now, because the way I write here does not fit MLA format.

I don't believe my flaws are due to AB. My problem is that being multilingual some days my brain works with one language and next day it will be different. It depends on what language I have been using in a certain day. Best regards.

Well, first off, Ive always been a good writer. Though I dont show that side of me too much here. It has always come natural to me. I actually learned how to type here, on AB. I have also learned a lot of different things , such as other ways to write, I think I will always try to improve in that aspect.

My work here has uncovered several times when I did not know which of two similar words to use, and when I asked which one was correct, I received many good tips on how to remember them. I also learned several new words, and came across a great way to tell the difference between the verb and noun form of a specific word that determines it's meaning. It has been many, many years since I was in school, and I have learned or re-learned several useful things here.

Perhaps it's acting like a "refresher" course. The more you practice, the sharper you continue to be.
