I have one friend that used to smoke pot, but he recently stopped. Nobody would smoke with him, and he couldn't get his work done. He used to ask me to join him and I was all, "dude, I've got shit to do today." So he eventually stopped and switched to taking Adderall - which is effectively speed. It's pretty big to do that, actually; I guess the ability to stay awake for 40 hours is pretty useful sometimes.

You know, I am a nearly thirty year old women and I enjoy to smoke pot leisurely. My hubby stopped at 31 because he thought he was getting too old for the crap. But he doesn't care if I do it as long as it is in the privacy of my home and my kids are not around. Really you would be surprised who smokes and who doesn't. Besides, I think marijuana should be a big peoples drug personally. There are worse drugs out there then mary jane! Alcohol would be one of them, and it's legal.

Xing smokes on occasion. It doesn't bother me. My best friend doesn't smoke, and never did. I used to smoke pot like a chimney, and haven't even smoked a bowl in 10 years. I still know people my age who do, and trust me. I'd rather be around them when they're high, than when they're sober.

I do however almost always have words for friends who smoke cigarettes that will eventually make them sick, give them cancer, or pass the second-hand smoke effects on to those around them including their innocent children. "I mean, aren't you SMARTER than that? No one thinks cigarettes are cool anymore, dude" (in those exact words, not LOLing)

I know quite a few pot smokers ranging from 13 to 78 years old ... Although I am against smoking (bake brownies), I do not put an age limit on it ... ... on a side note, around here, the street lingo "puffing the magic dragon" is a reference to smoking heroin by placing a line of powder on a sheet of aluminum foil, holding a flame under the foil until the powder smokes, then sucking up the smoke via a small tube, like an empty pen tube or drink straw ...

Ha I totally get what your saying. About 4 years ago I went to my friends and gave them a choice. Grow up or loose my friendship. Needless to say I no longer speak with them. I mean at what point in your life do you realize that the high just isn't worth the legal, financial, and life destroying risk to get high. I mean you can drink as long as you don't drive. Now the police are really cracking down on that and getting arrested for drugs could potentially ruin ones life.

No. You're never too old to smoke , my grandfather is 86 and he gets medical weed (lucky dying fucker). But let me point out that saying puffing the magic dragon got old about 5 minutes after MEET THE PARENTS came out, but anyways my dad smokes more than I do.

Well grown ups smoke cigarettes, drink alchol and they should be old enough to know its bad, there are alot of professionals out there who snort cocaine and smoke weed, it's not an age thing, I think it's a way to escape life.
