In relation to the arm, the bottom of the jacket should come to the knuckle of the thumb. In relation to the torso, divide the distance from the collar's seam to the floor in half. Some other points for wearing a jacket. The gorge (where the jacket collar and shirt collar meet) should be 1/2 inch below the top of the shirt collar. The shoulders of the jacket should not be so wide that they make the head look small or so narrow that they make th head look too big. They should allow the jacket to drape the shoulder blades comfortably and allow free movement of the arms.
