I believe that most men do not find this attractive.
Even though society has progressed in recent years assertive women still have a hard time being accepted.
When a women is assertive she is called a b**ch but an assertive man is called a leader.
I find that women can be even more vocal and negative about this than men.

It really depends on the man. There are men out there who like strong, smart, assertive women. Women should not tone themselves down nor change who they are because they don't think men will find them attractive.

I believe a good man will find a strong woman attractive. The cowardly ones may find her intimidating and not want to be around her.

That all depends on the man but in my own experience men do like to be in control and are sometimes intimidated by women with strong characters who know what they want.

Everyone has different tastes. I am a strong woman inside and out and I have found that lots of men are turned on by the fact that I am independant and strong. I always thought it was just becuase that meant I was strong enough to take care of them too! hahaha

Oh and I agree with you: women are more vocal and negative about this than men. Women need to relax, be themselves, and accept life. Too many women try too hard to prove themselves. I find that men could give or take this topic.

Well ... I find strong women very attractive, it shows intelligence which I find attractive, also it hints at the ability to deal with my particular brand of insanity; not to mention the fact that strong women are more likely to speak their minds and thereby make a relationship easier on a guy like me.
