  • Have you tried, pureeing the vegetables or giving them vegetables, that have a high water content in them, like lettuce.
  • It isn't just drinking more. What you need to do is lower your rabbit's calcium intact. Is it eating pellets or alfalfa hay? Both are very bad unless your rabbit really needs all that calcium like for intensive breeding. Most rabbits do not. Get your rabbit eating timothy hay and no pellets unless you can find one that is NOT based on alfalfa hay. And feed it lots of fresh veggies, about 2 cups per 6 lbs bodyweight. Good veggies that don't have lots of calcium are broccoli flowers and stem, cilantro, dark leaf lettuce, watercress, Brussels sprouts, celery leaves, cabbage, and endive are good choices when trying to reduce dietary calcium. Ones to AVOID are turnip greens, broccoli leaves, mustard greens, kale, and collards greens.
  • If your rabbits have a lickingstone, get rid of that.
  • If you use a drinkingbottle replace it with a bowl of water. With a bottle they stop drinking sooner, to much hassle.
