for me yes. I have depression and have been thru a lot in my life from rape to domestic violence to child abuse. It's therapy for me to be able to help others and it's therapy for me when I am down to be able to be helped by others. i get a lot of laughter on here that I wouldn't get anywhere else. so yes, It is for me

In the past I found it very therapeutic during very bad times. Now sometimes I find it very frustrating then I just walk away for a while.

I used to, when nobody knew me. Now I just find it fun and mentally stimulating at times. The real pitfall of AB being a community, IMO, is the disappearance of anonymity once you become a recognizable member to others. After that, it can be difficult at times to talk about personal, interpersonal, or embarrassing issues that you may feel the need to get off your chest.

Yes and No. For the most part yes, most of my time at AB is very enjoyable, I adore so many people here, and I really do learn things. I not only learn information type things, I also learn other people's perspective on things. It's very therapeutic interacting with wonderful people. On the other hand, at times it is very much the opposite of therapeutic, some topics get my blood pressure up. I get emotional when I see people running down or wanting to undermine my country or my beliefs.

Very theraputic. I find it very releasing to voice my opinion and say exactly how I feel about some things. I always tought that some of my opinions and ideas were a little off the wall but I find that many people agree with me or that in reading others answers I agree with them. Sometimes when people ask serious questions but to me the questions is phrased in a funny way I answer in a funny way (and probably annoy them - who cares!) and some times I get to be a grumpy old person and write snarky answers...I like being able to do that.
