  • I believe a Catholic or Orthodox priest will perform a baptism for anyone near death who asks it as a part of a ritual last rite. If you are apparently on your death-bed, they don't demand lengthy training classes. Some Baptist churches I have been in do not require training, but only an apparently sincere statement of faith. I suspect that the Southern Baptists are less likely than others to require a new members class before baptism. I expect there are others. You could start your own. ** Personal Opinion Alert. The following is just an opinion! ** If the intent of your inquire is to avoid Christian education, being baptized does you no good. The ceremony without the intent to be a disciple of Jesus is irrelevant and inconsequential. If you just want a certificate to impress somebody (even yourself), you are just a hypocrite.
  • The Church of Christ does not require "religious training". We only require an understanding (and a confession of that understanding) that Jesus is the Christ (the Son of God), that He died for our sins, and that we are lost in our sins without Him. You are then baptized for the forgiveness of your sins. This is in accordance with Acts 2:38, Romans 10:10, and other verses.
  • The Revival Fellowship will baptise (the bible way, by full emersion) anyone who wants it. Only God has the power to see if someones heart is repentant and he will reward them by filling them with the Holy Spirit (with the bible evidence of speaking in other tongues). Go to our website: www.trf.org.au for a list of all meeting places located in many different countries.
  • I attended a church three weeks before deciding to be baptized. They did it for free. Any decent church should be willing to do that for you.
  • Most protestant churches do not require religous training. They only require that a person has been born again.
