It came with the door, but I don't use it. It can be easily picked anyway.

I've got a cheap $3ish lock on my door, but I'm not stupid enough to think it'd keep a serial killer out. It doesn't even keep spiders out.

In our house ever door has a lock on it, no matter which room your in, you have the ability to lock that door.
as for secure some what, front door and back doors are steel and swing out not in and pins can't be pulled.
dead bolts are keyed both ways.
when you have been robbed like we have twice in the middle of the days both times by someone you know, makes you more likely to take extra precautions.
Nothing will stop someone if they really want in but it can slow them down.

I think so. But it's just a standard lock set, for privacy. We don't even close the door let alone lock it.

Yes but I can't remember the last time I locked it. No real need to.

Nope...I actually don't have a door knob! I was in the process of putting a knob with a lock in and now I don't remember where I put all the pieces. I feel secure enough though, because I sleep with a couple knives in the proximity..

Yes, it makes me feel that if someone broke in I would at least have enough time to dial 911 before they made it through.

Yes, and it's necessary, my roommate has a hard time grasping the concept of privacy.

Actually, my bedroom door doesn't even close properly all the time.

But hey, I don't mind. It's not like I'll get attacked.

There is one, but it is a cheap lock. Doesn't make me feel secure. I have only ever used it once, and that was to keep my husband out after he was rude and embarrassed me in front of his friends. I just wanted time to cool down. It was before we married and he had a seperate room. He wouldn't have broken it, but it wouldn't have been hard to. He just shook the handle once and asked me to come out after they left. But we made up soon enough. Anyway, he died last year 7 months after we married, so now I live alone. I never both shutting interior doors, let alone locking them.

Yes, but I don't use it. In fact, my bedroom door is always open.

No, it doesn't make me feel more secure. What matters to me is the lock on the front door.

I have a lock on the door and added a rubber stopper to go under the door as well. I would just as soon not introduce my Daughter to certain things until she matures just a little more, If you know what I mean.

We resorted to putting a lock on the door. The kids (teenagers) get into everything.

My house has no rooms, it's one big space. And i don't lock the house at night. That way, if i die in my sleep, someone won't have to smash anything to get in to clean up the mess.

No, our bedroom is at the back of the house, so I haven't had any need. I leave it open most of the time, along with the sliding glass door that leads out to the patio. We don't observe privacy as fanatically as some people.
