Yes, I have been subpoenaed two times. The first time was to tell what my observations were for two people who were drinking and driving when an accident occured and they ended up in the hospital. The other one was very disturbing. My aunt was married to a man for a short while. This man had no children so he made my aunt's extended family a part of his family. He divorced her because he was involved with another woman and ended up marrying this other woman. He wanted to keep in contact with some of my aunts family (my aunt has 7 children from a previous marriage). Two times after the divorce, he called me which considering his personality would not be anything unusual. The first time, he wanted me and my husband to go out to dinner with him sometime. The second time was to ask me something medical since I am a nurse. I guess he found himself to be unhappily married to this other woman and he filed for divorce. She had checked the caller ID and saw my number there where he had called me. Shortly after that, one day two police arrived at the hospital where I work and called out my name and served me with a supoena. I was shocked and angry to say the least. This woman was accusing me of having an affair with her husband. It finally was worked out with the lawyer and I didn't have to appear.

I had the hooping cough once,and a slight hernia,but never a subpoena.

twice in one summer! the first time was to testify at a custody hearing of a client of ours the second time to provide testimony about the activities of a family that lived next door to my job both times these people were complete strangers to me!!
