I went to the beach in Deland(?) for the last rocket launch. It was amazing!!! Even though I was a distance away, you could still hear the rumbling of the rocket, and it's just awe-inspiring to think that there are people in there, going into outer space. Definitely something to do if you've never watched it.

yep. i have been to several. you have to be at least three miles away, and my viewpoint is from 3.5 miles away. sometimes i watch from cocoa beach. it's pretty incredible.
