  • yes once in awhile it seems sometimes their prices are more than the local hardware store though...LOL
  • Decades ago, when I was very poor, I bought a pair of nice used dress shoes from Goodwill. I still have them and will continue to wear them if I ever go formal.
  • I always shop thrift stores. And I've discovered a few discount stores with new things in them. Just yesterday I went o Dirt Cheap and got a dress, leggings, and an oversized sweater for only $7 each. But you have to watch it, because I thought I was getting a $40 pair of shoes for 50% off but apparently someone set them back on a shelf for 50% off. I wouldn't have bought them knowing the price, but they were still worth it though. The other day at the thrift store I found a couple of silicone bottle brushes. One was .99, the other much longer and thinner they wanted 1.98. I struggled over whether or not to get it and after I got it and brought it home I looked it up online to see what it was designed for and found that the exact same brush that came with a very small almost pipe cleaner size brush with a metal handle was selling for 6.99. I like Big Lots, too. Especially for spices and the candy peanuts I buy once a year. Miss you, Boo! Where ya been?
