Never -- except 1. When you are eating horsemeat. 2. Your wife cooks your steak past rare.(a reason to get rid of her) 3. You don't know what a good, prime steak really is. No sauce, no ketchup, and very light on the salt - if any. Otherwise: Don't come to our house.
-
NOOOOOOO! A good steak needs nothing. and A1 is the nastyist stuff to put on anything, really.

If the steak is not dry, and is flavorful. I wont use anything.

A1 is awesome on shrimp. I wouldn't eat a steak that needed doctoring in the first place, and all of my family and friends know how to do a steak right if they make one at all.
-
on more than just steak, on all sorts, and add to that a smoked taste, and bam !!
