He just ain't particularly smart! (He tried in these (at least once)...)) Besides... The Rube Goldbergian versions were best (one big trap, many steps, all fail). And, wouldn't that have put Acme out of business LONG ago? ;-) And besides, again... Didn't you notice, that the roadrunner and coyote defied MANY laws of physics in the show? Well, and LIFE in general (How many times did the coyote die?) LOL
