This is going to sound weird but just keep your rabbit clean and leave the magots on the wound. they will keep it clean and allow it to heal quicker. after the wound heals go to a pet store and look for a special shampoo say for just any animal and bath her everyday until they are gone.

Your rabbit has flystrike. This is very dangerous. They can burrow into your rabbit and eat the living flesh. You must remove and kill every maggot, don't leave one. And look for any sign of eggs that haven't hatched on your rabbit, anything that wiggles and get rid of them. You may need to get to the vet to be sure there aren't anymore inside your rabbit. No amount of washing and bathing will help, in fact that would make it worse. If there is a wound, take care of it and keep flystrike from happening again, If you need to keep the rabbit in an area with no chance of flies being around her, so much the better. If you can't keep the maggots off, then for sure get to the vet.

Many thanks for your answers but I did find out for my self and took her to the vet, he was very impressed with us as we seem to be on top of it, she seems to be responding well. Once again many thanks for your time. Kind regards x
