AZ leads the nation in poisonous spiders, and reptiles. It has gila monsters, scorpions, diamondback rattlesnakes, black widow spiders, and tarantulas.

It's the 6th largest state in the U.S., behind Alaska, Texas, California, Montana and New Mexico.

Not really. There is a lot of desert in Arizona, but desert is defined as a low (I believe 6" or less) total annual precipitation, whether that precipitation is in the form of rain or snow or sleet or hail! It CAN snow just about anywhere in AZ...although it's pretty uncommon in the desert areas, of course.

Arizona is an incredibly beautiful state with tremendous geographical and climatic diversity. I have a 2nd home in Lake Havasu, but I also love the Grand Canyon and Sedona areas. The road from Flagstaff to Sedona is incredible. 1) and 2) Lake Havasu 2) Grand Canyon 3) Sedona
