Until after 2 years of age consider her still a puppy. Dogs do not get perfect bladder control until after age 2. But then they are mature adults and are starting to mellow out and are not as prone to accidents caused by excitement, fright, whatever. If she is pottying in the exact same spot time after time then that spot has been marked and needs to be deep cleaned. Once a dog marks a spot their nature is to keep marking that spot over and over again. territorial issues such as a fight between her and the cat that walks down the road on the other side of the street could cause territorial issues and a need to mark the territory even if the cat never ever comes in the house. If this is a new behavior after having been successfully potty trained then it might be a physical ailment or an emotional one. Physical ones are easy to figure out, run a blood test, poke and prod - that can quickly uncover the cause and treatment can take place. Emotional issues are much more difficult. Small things like a change in the routine in the house as small as dad not coming home at 6 but coming home at 7 can have the weirdest of effects on dogs and cats and other critters. Loss or disappearance of people or even other animals can lead to behavioral changes. Urinating (more specifically) in front of a human being can be either excitement in which case its obvious the dog is excited and way too happy, or its abuse. If its abuse the dogs demeanor will be one of submissiveness, a weaker wag to the tail, more of a 'hopeful wag' than one that is excited. Urinating as a sign of submissiveness is, in the wild, one of the highest signs of submission. Unfortunately for a dog in an abusive home that ultimate humiliation can lead to more abuse. If in doubt take her to a vet, lay it all out to him/her and work with him/her toward a solution.
