  • At 6 days I wouldn't count on it. I doubt that after 6 days your pills would have you at the "99%" effective rate. However, I have no science to back this up. If you really don't want to get pregnant (and I'm assuming you don't) then I'd use back up if I were you.
  • absolutely not..it is never fool proof...i was on the pill for two years when i got pregnant for my son..use a backup especially if you're only on 6 days most doctors say it takes 3 months to be fully effective
  • heck no there is always a chance of things going wrong even with protection on.
  • most pills take 30 days to fully activate. also, it's really not that effective unless taken everyday at the same time like clockwork. if you can do that, then it's good, if not, why are you even risking it? So to recap, yes you can get pregnant right now, and no it isn't really all that effective. I suggest Nuvaring, it is a little more idiot proof. nuvaring is effective after 30 days and all you have to do is remember to take it out every three weeks
