What would you rather have, a lightsaber or the One Ring, being able to wield the lightsaber proficiently and the One Ring having no bad effects?

Lightsaber, and then id cut the One Ring and destroy it, because everyone knows although Gimli might not be able to destroy it with a hammer, Darth Vader totally would pwn the n00b that is Sauron.
