They are Chemicals. Certian people, myself included, don't take well to any chemical or the "binders" that hold the chemicals together. I have been on 9 different ones, none have worked. Most medicines afect me the same way. So, maybe, you are like that.

It isn't me. My best friend's husband has clinical depression. He can function - like doing cooking and housework (she works and he stays home because he can't find work) but his social skills are lacking. If I talk to him, he just responds with a grunt, if at all. He seems all wrapped up in his own world. He just stares at nothing in particular and doesn't interact with others. My friend says that he's flunked every cognitive test given to him and no medicine he's taken for depression has helped him.
