    He was a self centered opportunist that put his ambitions ahead of the needs of the country.When in office he obstructed justice thinking he was above it,abused his power by firing anyone that got in selfish way.He prolonged the Vietnam with tens of thousands dying because of his mistake in prolonging the war.Eventually his past mistakes and constant lies and cover ups caught up to him and he was the first president to be impeached in over 100 years,so he resigned.He was a terrible president,and it was good when he left office."Tricky Dickie" was his nickname.Hundreds of thousands of messages flooded the White House demanding his resignation,including republicans.
