  • Experience as a governor and mayor is much more relevant then experience as a senator.
  • She has run something. She has made executive level decisions. Obama taught law. And she is second on the ticket, not first.
  • The Republican smear campaign is just a comical lesson in hypocrisy. Being a war hero in 2004 means nothing, but in 2008 it's all-important. In 2004 being rich was a bad thing, but in 2008 it's OK when your wife is rich and tours around the country in a private jet, and you can't remember how many houses you own. Having a black man and a woman as the front-runners for the Democratic nomination turned politics into a "minority circus act" (Rush Limbaugh's words, not mine), but choosing an under-qualified woman as a running mate is nothing short of genius. Gotta love it.
  • 4 years?!?!? he only has about half a year more experience! The role of a VP should not in any way be compared to that of a President. Obama will be leading a country, she will just be under the wing of McCain.
