When I'm at work, it's easy to do but home alone?....I don't stay focused until the problem is solved.

I make detailed to-do lists and fulfill them as a promise to myself. I am very reasonable and specific in these lists so that I don't become self-defeating in the impossibility of my goals. It is very important to acknowledge that it is a difficult time and take things a step or so at a time. There are always ways to compromise with yourself while not compromising your life and your responsibilities. It is important to stay somewhat on track in order to respect your self and bring balance into your life. I recommend getting dinners that are easy to prepare but delicious; creating gratitude lists when you feel especially down; and reserving YOU-time to do the things you absolutely love. I happen to do very well when I reward myself for a job well-done. Decide what makes you especially happy - and know - when you have done your best, you could, and should, indulge yourself. Talk to your animals. They may not have a lot to say back, but you'd be surprised how productive such a conversation could be ;)

I have never had that problem. I have been told by a few people that my ability to focus/concentrate/stay on track is scary. The bigger the difficulty, the more focused I become! :) ((hugs))

I find it very difficult to stay focused on just about anything. I try to stay in one place, and sometimes that helps. It's almost like a child's mantra, Stop, Think, Act.

I just meditate or write about whats going on in my life about whats wrong and how can i make it better i cant say it works much but makes me feel less anxious.
