Help answer this question below.

Are your tax returns that you receive like the worlds final copy? I lost my tax return from 2007 and I cannot figure out where to get a copy... Any help, please??? (They were filed at H&R Block)

    Yeah from H&R block or here is the instructions fron the irs website.http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc156.html

    If you need an actual copy of your return, you should complete and mail Form 4506 (PDF), Request for Copy of Tax Return, along with a check or money order for $ 39.00 per tax year made payable to the "United States Treasury". Allow 60 calendar days to receive your copies.

    You can get a copy from the IRS. There is a $39 fee. You can get a free transcript (not an exact copy but a statement showing earnings and amounts on 1040) also. Follow the instructions in this link. I've used it in the past.

    I think the fastest way to get a copy of an old tax return is an online service like FileLate.com. They can email or fax you copies of old tax returns (copies, not transcripts) in 20 minutes. You can also retrieve old W-2s and 1099s. And I believe they're open 24 hours a day. Hope this helps.
