  • You're talking about the USA, I assume? What about the unemployment money thingy?
  • Why should the Government do that, when you and I are paying for all the poor people in the U.S every week when we get our ridiculously depleted pay checks?
  • We have this annoying habit it butting in on other country's business and yet our own people are suffering. It's not about time, it should have been done a long time ago.
  • that makes sense to me! but we just love appearing to be the good guy
  • just the money that leaves the country for one week, would help build roads and bridges and schools and repair public buildings. Billions of dollars are going to other countrys governments.
  • way overdue considering the countries we are sending jobs and resources to won't give us the time of day. You should know by now that the only ones important in America to the government anyway are the rich and the big corporations since they are ones who pay most of the taxes (though I think poor people actually pay more) and they are the ones who pay the politicians expense accounts..nobody else matters. If we lived in other countries or were here illegally, we would have it made.
  • Absolutely! I think there are way too many people with dire circumstances here in Australia and I think the government spends way too much money and time making sure other countries are better off than look at it's own country. For example, just after Kevin Rudd was elected Prime Minister of Australia, I was watching the news and they were saying that interest rates were on an all time high, families were forced to start morgaging their homes and people were losing their jobs left right and center... They then showed a clip of Kevin Rudd (retard) saying, "I thought this would never happen. I'm sorry that people are losing their homes and families are struggling, but that's the way it goes and there's nothing I can do. THEN... Straight after that clip, it showed Kevin Rudd at the SAME press conference saying that he just donated something like 20 million dollars to Papua New Guinea so they can build more buildings and start giving the New Guinea kids an education... Then it showed Kevin Rudd with a big smile and proud look on his face. It made me really cranky and I can't believe he was proud and thought we'd all appreciate what he had done. We're so totally gonna go downhill with that idiot as our Prime Minister...
  • Foodstamps, Welfare, Medicade??? Yes, we need more handouts, what are we thinking?
