Is it true that no top seeded woman tennis player could beat any male tennis player in the top 500 or 1000?

Hmm, to me it would depend on the surface and the players involved. I'd bet one of the Williams sisters could certainly knock off one of the men in, say, the top 200 if she were having a good day. They are quite powerful.

I do not think that would be true. Certainly not the very top players but some of the women players are very powerful and fast. I think they could take some of the men above 500 on a good day Certainly above 1000.
