It's the water baptism. The other baptism - baptism of the Holy Spirit, isn't something you can juist go out and do... it happens from within. Water baptism works on two levesl. First of all, it's a picture of death, burial and resurrection - a picture of your old nature (the sinful nauture) being killed and you coming back to life as a new creation. (If you want, I can find the Bible verses for all these, but I can't recall off the top of my head.) Secondly, it's a basic act of obedience - it's a public demonstration of your commitment to follow Jesus unto whatever end. I hope this helps...

Okay this is gonna be as simple as possible but it's gonna be good. REad this verse Acts 2:38 .Actually read the whole book of Acts if you didn't know it is known as the Book of Conversions. Also read Mark 16:16 Jesus said " He that believes and is baptized shall be saved, but he who is not baptism is damned" Although we may be lost by simply not having faith, we must have faith and be baptized to be pleasing to God. When you ask "what baptism is this" it is the baptism it is the only true baptism. Here is why In the Catholic Churches and many others they sprinle or pour water over one. This is not the correct way of being baptized, and in doing so not being baptized at all. Here are some proof from scriptures : A. " Much Water" - John 3:23 B. Going to the water - Acts 8:36. Usually in sprinkling or pouring water is brought to the person. C.Going into the water - Acts 8 :38-39 D. Being raised out of the water - Colossians 2:12 How can some be raised from a pouring or sprinkling.
