  • exercise..go for a run or buy a punching bag, take boxing lessons...take karate..if you dont stop drinking you're going to wind up in AA.. good luck
  • First off, stop drinking. It will only make the stress appear even worse. You will end up in a cycle of drinking, feeling better, and waking up, feeling more stressed and drinking more to relieve the stress. Not a good idea. Try exercise. Go for a walk in a quiet place. Talk to some friends. Drink green or chamomile tea. Take up a hobby! There's many things you can do. But drinking to relieve stress every night is extremely, physically and mentally dangerous.

  • twenty minutes sitting with your eyes closed. just listen to your breathing. and when a thought takes you away, just go with it. then when you remember you are meditating, listen to your breathing. do it for twenty minutes, twice a day if you can. you will feel lots better for it.
  • I agree with Katie. You should start exercising. Start out with something as easy as walking, then jogging. It's nice if you have an ipod to listen to. I would also reccomend getting yourself on a normal schedule, especially waking up early every day.
  • Me too, doc gave me Xanax. It helps, but I am still stressed to the max right now. Good Luck.
