I only care when I start getting trolled or get - for no reason. as far as whether I get +1 or +5 I don't care. I do care when I put my heart into an answer and the questioner doesn't appreciate my answer enough to at least give me 1 point. It makes me think "then why do you ask the question if you don't people's honest heartfelt answer". On most questions, I do give my heartfelt, life experience serious answers.. some questions don't require that and if not, i don't give it. If I see that I am spending 10-15 minutes answering a question seriously to encourage someone and those same people don't even care enough about my answer to even acknowledge it with a comment or + then I either will no longer answer their questions or I will 1/2 ass answer it. When I ask a ?, i consider myself rude if I don't at least + a person who gives me an answer although I try to at least leave some kind of comment. I look at it like this. NOBODY says they have to answer my question. There are a ton of questions. They are doing me a favor by answering it. It is only proper that if they take their time to answer it, I acknowledge it..even if I don't agree with their opinion and often I don't..
