"If you support the US Constitution, and the equality of rights for all US citizens, why have you not taken a stand in support of equal marriage rights for all?" Any answer about "civil unions being equivalent, which I support" would be rejected onto the "separate but equal" junkpile, since we know civil unions are NOT equivalent to marriage.
