  • Not in the slightest, in fact, I didn't even know they were over. I am somewhat disappointed that they passed without some fiasco serving to topple down the wall of public relations strategies the Chinese government constructed in an effort to use the Olympics as a chance to convince the world that it isn't as backwards and corrupt as it... Well, is. But as for the Olympics themselves, I couldn't really care less, because like so many people have been saying since it was announced that they were being held in Beijing, the Olympics themselves are just athletes. And personally, I don't see how one guy being able to win a tennis match or break the record running the 100 yard sprint, should hold any interest for me whatsoever.
  • I admit I'm at something of a loss about what to watch on the boob-tube now.
  • I am very sad. I will have to get my dose of Shawn Johnson another way now. Usain Bolt is a BEAST!
  • I havent gotten into the Olympics for awhile now, so Im not sad they are over.
  • To my surprise I actually am sad they are over! I haven't bothered watching in years-I thinl 1980 was the last time I really dedicated time to them - but seeing the razer edge competitivness of the USA and China made it exciting...it used to be a monotonous round of USSR or USA....also the Chinese come over as REALLY being thrilled to be hosting them
