you know its funny i have a kitty and when he gets sick and you take them to the vet the veternarian prescribes the same medicine a pedeatrician prescribes to a child. Instead of giving the dosage in teaspoons or tablespoons you would give it in cc's. you will need to purchase a cc medicine dropper when you go to the pharmacy for infant drops for stuffy nose and sneezing. OKAY!

didnt ask for a smart ass comment!! OKAY! we just got the cat 3 days ago from the Humane Society!! You would think it wouldnt be sick and it was Frikin THANKSGIVING.... so the VET wasnt open.... thanks for your NO HELP!!

I'm not really sure how to treat a kitten cold, but I do suggest posting on this site: www.thecatsite.com They're all a bunch of pet owners and very, very helpful. If anyone can tell you how to handle this, they can.

The problem is, a stuffy nose and sneezing can be the only signs of a serious disease. A vet is the only real choice with this. Until you can get to a vet, you can do this: You Can Try Oral Antihistamines As A Means Of Relieving The Symptoms. Obtain Some Non-alcoholic Diphenhydramine (generic For Benadryl) Children's Liquid From Your Neighborhood Pharmacy. Use A Dose Of 1mg Per Pound Of Body Weight Every 8 To 12 Hours. The Product Will Have A Strength Of 12.5mg Per Teaspoonful Which Should Be Appropriate For The Average Cat.
