  • My boyfriend had a bout of gall bladder issues and his PCP advised to avoid spicy foods and pizza sauce.
  • I think age, overall health, and activity level have to be taken into consideration. A consultation with a nutritionist would be your best bet. My Daughter-in-law had to go into the hospital for an entire week of IV and treatment to get relief.
  • I'm sorry to hear that. (((HUGS))) I've heard it can be painful :( I know that fats are limited, but not eliminated. Here is a site that shows the foods you can eat. http://www.buzzle.com/articles/gall-bladder-diet.html The foods listed make a lot of sense even when you have a healthy gall bladder. Oh, good luck. (Your Doctor may also have a list available.)
  • I too have a gallbladder problem. Here's a list of stuff I found I can tolerate so far.. hopefully it helps. Tap-water is ok in moderation Saltines unsalted tops( cholest.free, low sat. fat) fat-free milk ( they have some that tastes like 2%~ works for me and I can't have any daiy) all dry cereals all oatmeal except creamy salad with no red cabbage no tomatoes.. I used lit blush wine or red wine vinegarette.. really good english muffins with jelly baked potatoes with little bit of lite soy sauce grilled skinless, boneless chicken breast marinated in oil/vinegar dressing and soy.. tasty pizzeria sticks~ garlic and light parmesan.. no sauce fat free or low fat fudge sticks ( ice cream cravings) pretzels.. some are better than others applesauce boiled veggies are best if all else fails try baby food.. that worked for me until I found some things I could eat!
