Help answer this question below.
I was present for both my daughters' births. I wouldn't have had it any other way. Absolutely amazing. One minute there is one person, the next there are two. Humbling, really.
I watched both my daughters being born...changed my life.
I was at both my kids births and it was amazing watching both being born. My kids are 20 months apart.
I watched my best friend give birth to my god daughter! It is a morning ill never forget, it really is beautiful to be there and hear them cry for the very first time!
I got the honor of being there when my nefew, Loki, was born. I cried... It was so wonderful to be there for my sister and be with the family and to participate in bringing himinto the world :-3
I WATCHED ALL 4 OF MY NIECES, AND BOTH MY GRANDSONS BE BORN. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT IN THE WORLD. IT AMAZES ME EVERY TIME I SEE ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL GIFT FROM GOD COME INTO THIS WORLD. IF YOU EVER GET THE CHANCE TO BE A PART OF THIS WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE, DO IT! I WAS NEVER ABLE TO HAVE CHILDREN OF MY OWN BUT WATCHING THESE BEAUTIFUL BABIES BE BORN MAKES IT A LITTLE EASIER.
Just my own! I don't have the words to describe how it made me feel. It was 100% happiness and relief that he was A-OK!!
I was there at the exit. the episiotomy was very interesting. the doctor just shot my wife up with pain killer and used scissors to enlarge the opening. more of her interior was exposed...then when he sewed her up he asked me if i wanted "it" tight or loose. nice doc.
In "person"?!?! No. In females, yes.
Hello, chief! I have witnessed the birth of both grandsons. It was TOTALLY amazing and I was overwhelmed by the intense love I felt for my son and his sons. I also witnessed the birth of my son. AWESOME! +4
BOTH MY NICE AND NEPHEW. AND I MYSELF HAVE HAD A CHILD, AND THE DELIVERY ROOM I WAS IN THERE WAS A LARGE MIRROR THAT WAS THERE SO I ACTUALLY GOT TO SEE PART OF MY DAUGHTER BEING DELIVERED. ITS ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING, MAGICAL, LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCES.
Yes, it was super neato! :o) I got to cut the umbilical cord toos!
Yes, I have. And no, it was acutally kind of terrifying. It's head looked like a deflated football with hair when it was coming out....
yes i watched my godson and goddaughter being born - it was amazing apart from the blood circulation in my hand was cut of ratha quick!
it is a beautiful thing and yes i did cry - before the mother infact! =]
Yes and Yes :)
i saw each of my six children being born. MADE ONE MISTAKE. i said to my ex wife " surely it can't hurt that badly"
Many times, as a med student. It was fun to watch, but even cooler when I got to deliver a baby! :-)
Only one time and all I said was, "OUCH"!!!
honestly, i watched my kid being born and it messed me up. for my second one, i turned my head. if you have a weak stomach, i wouldn't recommend it. somethings are better left unknown/unseen, left to imagination...
I'm a nurse student and I watched a C-section. Yes it is amazing!! They carefully cut through layers & layers of tissue/fat/muscle until finally they reached the amniotic sac. They cut a small hole, all the fluid ran out, and they pulled out a baby. To watch its lungs expand for the first time and cry was amazing! A beautiful thing it is..
Almost, it was the plan anyway.
I was supposed to watch my sister give birth to my niece...but then she needed a C-section.
The ability to make another person is amazing!
I haven't seen it in person yet, though.
I saw BOTH of my sons being born. Yes... Amazing. ;-)
I did! I was invited to see a good friends baby being born, I am his "godfather" now.
It was very interesting, unfortunately, there were complications, and the doc had to do some last minute cutting. She healed right up, and he is a very healthy baby boy!
Not a human one, but many others, small and large. I am sure the human baby's birth would blow my mind.....
No I haven't and I don't know that I would want too. Yes it is a beautiful miracle that is taking place but I don't think I want to see a big baby leaving his tiny home (if you get what I mean ). I would probably faint.
Several times. It's amazing, especially when it's your child!
Well, I saw as much as I could, my head doesn't go down that far... But yes when I gave birth to my daughter it was amazing.
I was there for the delivery of my neice. At first i thought it would be gross , but honestly thats the last thing your thinking while your in a delivery room. It was the most amazing exerience ever.
Not a human except on TV. I've seen lots of animals being born though; pigs, calves, dogs, cats, etc.
It's a miracle.
well, my own two:) But i didnt really see much lol. If u ask my husband this question, he'd say he saw his own two kids be born=)
I've seen a claf being born...does that count?
It was amazing, incredibly beautiful and at the same time unbelievably grose.
I have this thing about not watching other peoples bodily functions whenever I can.
no, but i would love too...
Yes I've attended a few births and my husband even delivered a baby for a friend of ours. They were very special moments and totally amazing!
I have seen my two youngest children and one granddaughter being born and it is absolutely amazing.
yes. my wife and i went to the hospital for her to be induced, but the nurse said that things were already on the way. two hours later, the handholding became unbearable. at that point, the ob-gyn and nurses came running in. i was fortunate to "catch" my son. he had medical problems that night so i stayed with him and i cried. his birth and the holding of my daughter for the first time, my wedding, will all be with me forever. truly amazing!!!
i watched the birth of my grandson it was absolutely breath-taking, a real big moment of happiness
Yes and yes.
I watched all 3 of mine being born, and it's the most "AMAZING" thing I have ever seen! Truly, a miracle!
I was my sister's birthing partner.
The birth itself I wouldn't describe as amazing, it was a long and difficult one, with a few complications.
What was amazing was the strength my sister had to dredge up from God knows where, and the look in my nephew's eyes when I held him for the first time, just a few seconds old.
The only baby I saw being born was my son and it was cool despite the blood and stuff.
I was in the room when my wife gave birth by c-section, but refused to look over the sheet. GROSS!!!!!!!
I haven't, but I soon will.
Yes, once when i worked in a hospital, and it was the most emotional experience ever!
I was in the delivery room when my sister's first son was born, but I stood up by her head talking to her. I didn't want to see the baby coming out.. That kind of stuff grosses me out!
Yes i watched my first grandchild be born eleven months ago, it was the most incredibly beautiful amazing thing ive ever experienced in my life, and i thank my daughter for letting me share it with her.:)
My answer would be about the same. I couldn't see anything. I had an epidural, so I couldn't feel anything. But there is nothing like hearing that new baby cry.
Now I have delivered hundreds of baby animals, foals, calves, piglets, kids, puppies and kittens.
Yes several times and it is always amazing!
I've watched it three times. It is the most fantastic experience I have ever had, seeing a brand new life come into the world. Truly! No words can describe the feelings it gives. Unfortunately for the woman, she doesn't feel anything like the men do at the time.
I was there for both my girls being born. (Funny that.) The first one I did without medication and didn't watch at all. The second I did with an epidural and I LOVED watching her come out. I know that sounds really weird, but it didn't hurt, and it was my baby girl. And yes, it was amazing. And bloody. And beautiful.

Hahaha! So far... I have a pile of bills looking at me... I'm officially ignoring them. If I wait long enough I think they'll go away.
