  • Yes, there have been many days I wish I didn't have the responsibilities. But They are so worth it.
  • well if you have made it all the way to the teen years without thinking this before then you are a better parent then me. Kids are very trying at times, ok fine most of the time, but it is worth it to have someone so special to your heart forever.
  • Hi snakelover! I'm on my 2nd generation of teenagers now with grandsons who are 13 and 14. The GREAT thing is that I'm not raising this generation! Their dad was such a royal pain in the a__ that I can completely identify with what you're going through. But he's turned in to a wonderful man and one of my best friends, and now he's going through what I went through. My best support when I was going through it were other people who had teenagers, too. Do you have any support?
  • Hey honey, sorry ive not been in touch lately. I think its normal for you to think like this after all you have been through, and dont let ANYONE tell you that you didnt do a good job with N.. you are a wonderful mother and hopefully when he is older he will realise that.... its just a shame that he is making you feel like this now.
  • Yes it perfectly normal to feel like that sometimes, teenagers really push you past your limits sometimes but i promise if you hang in there it all works out in the end. Mine have took me to hell and back a few times but they all grow up eventually and the worst of mine is now settled with a son of her own, and i couldnt ask for a better relationship with her.:)
  • I brought up three of the little buggers, and I think it's perfectly natural to wonder what your life would be like without them. No harm to my kids, I love them dearly, but if I had it to do over I would choose not to have children. It really was a lot tougher than I thought it would be.
