Not sure about that. I always thought they looked great in movies, and on a few types of people: The David Niven, Leo G. Carrol, Hugh Hefner types, (all dead but one) who were/are dapper and/or abit "affected," or the very old and very wealthy, who are eccentric, living in the past when ascots were much more in vogue, and who can wear whatever the heck they want because they ARE so wealthy. :) Also, if we brought back the ascot, that might start a trend and then we would have spats and cufflinks and pocket watches and other things that I think alot of men might find to be less practical. But on the right man, an ascot can look very distinguished.

Yes I do actually. Men's fashion has gone very much downhill so something like ascots and cigarette holders would be most welcome.
