My 99 Jeep Cherokee's electric fan keeps running long after the engine has been turned off causing the battery to drain. Car starts with jump but stalls until it is driven.Then its fine. I d/c'ed the blower fuse for now

    Does anyone else have input re: this as I too am having this problem. I replaced the switch - still no good. HELP!

    You should have your thermostat checked because the engine temperature needs to be regulated carefully.

    You really should not defeat any funtion of the cooling fan. You're asking for trouble and major expense.

    Take the time and/or investment and have the fan replaced or repaired and/or the thermostat.

    You'll be glad you did!
