  • I agree totally! It doesn't matter, and I wish people would just accept that some people are homosexual and some are heterosexual (and some bi) and accept them for themselves.
  • My thoughts exactly. Homosexuality inflicts no direct harm on anyone but those who practise it, and therefor, is no one else's business. That's also the basic logic behind my objection to all the people who seem deadset on putting a stop to all abortion, suicide, and prostitution.
  • True that. Except that people who seem to run counter to science, and claim orientation is a "choice," tend to try and influence people to make different "choices." That's why it's important to follow science, and understand that orientation is inborn, not a "choice," and does not change. It allows people to see such attempts at "persuasion" for what they are - prejudice.
  • You said it! People who still have any concerns about this in the year 2008 must have way too much time on their hands. They should take the energy they use worrying about it and put it to use in some constructive way that would actually benefit society.
  • I agree. I think both opponents and proponents make too much of what should be a non-issue. As long as it isn't illegal and immoral (such as pedophilia), sexuality doesn't need to be broadcast nor reviled. It's the private business of the individual. (clever nickname)
  • It could be because if it were a choice or born that way, that would make the difference in discrimination laws. You could discriminate against choices, but not how one is naturally born. You could decide not to hire someone because they have visible tattoos that they refuse to cover during work hours, you are not allowed to refuse employment if they are, say, Chinese. You choose to get tattoos and not cover them, your are born Chinese.
  • I don't have a problem with homosexuality. I have an uneasy feeling when I am shopping and I see 2 men or 2 females kissing or making out in public. It's just to me, not PC. That may be why a lot of people are against it.. what you do in your own home is your business but that's like me going to Wal mart naked.. nobody wants to see it. I just feel they should respect the fact that there are people who are uneasy with seeing that. I am not judging.. I am just telling you things I have heard and how I feel personally.
  • My bisexuality is no-one's business. I don't care how I became bi, I am and I accept it. It doesn't matter if someone is gay or bi, I know specifically in my generation no-one really bats an eyelid at it. Perhaps people will grow more accustomed to it over time.
  • Its the governments business thats whos. If they dont monitor who you have sex with, then who will?!
  • It's all part of the blame game being played by the Homosexuals and the Christians. I say just be understanding of one another's faults and predilections and let God sort it out.
  • One of my cousins is Homosexual and he hasnt really changed or spoken differently he's the same guy i knew sadly his lover died i knew him quite well and im sorry that he's dead Some christian organisations offer help for homosexuals offering them courses to overcome their homosexuality i personally think it can be a choice but sometimes a hard choice to back out of.
  • It doesn't matter. As long as an individual keeps his/her sexual life among him/her and his/her partners it's surely nobody's business.
  • It only really matters to bible thumpers. If it was proven that people who are homosexual were born that way, this would really cramp their style. It would be even harder for them to delude themselves.
  • Not yours and not mine and definitely not some priests. You are absolutely right.
