Yep. It is probably the most difficult form of forgiveness, but, it really does work if you can do it. It frees you immensely. You are no longer "bound" to them in any way.

no. I am no longer angry at the person who raped my son but I will forgive them and i will never quit hoping they fully get the punishment they deserve. they are not sorry..still deny to this day 9 years later that it happened but it did. so no. I think you can release it and never forgive.

If you can view the person as a sick person it's a lot easier to forgive.

I can usually tell if they are not sorry so it;s better for me to forget rather than forgive. YOu can't forgive someone who is truly not sorry.

Anger is the most difficult thing to release and to forgive someone is equally difficult but I try to do that and sometimes I get it right but most of the time I retaliate.I cannot hold it for long.

Best way to release anger for me is to workout. Afterwards, I look at things from a much more logical and calm stand point.
