  • One day in 1930, Swiss geologist Dr. Francois de Loys was leading an expidition in the rainforest near the Brazilian-Columbian border when two ape-like creatures walked out of the bush, upright on two legs, in front of them. Startled, they moved towards the party in a threatening manner which caused the men to shoot them. The female was killed while the male fled into the bush. Officially there are no apes in South America, which is why this creature had no rational explaination. Not only did it walk upright on two legs like a human, but it had no tail. It stood about 5 feet tall (1.5 metres) and was too heavy to carry with them, so they propped it sitting on a crate, placing a pole under it's chin to photograph it. Sadly, most of the photos were lost when the geologists' boat capsized but this one terrific picture did survive. When they got back to London, it rattled the scientific world. One French zoologist was convinced it was a species of unknown ape, the first ever found in South America. Others thought it was closer to the known Spider Monkey in spite of the much larger and muscular body and the fact it had fewer teeth than that species. Some rivals even argued that it must have indeed had a tail and de Loys had purposely hidden it to take the photo. Today this incident is all but forgotten in cryptozoologist circles.
  • I think I'm married to him.
  • My friend's mother-in-law.
  • big-foot is not paranormal but whatever-Sasquatch could exists in unexplored places in the world, but the chances are getting slimmer and slimmer
  • "Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is a figure in North American folklore alleged to inhabit remote forests, mainly in the Pacific northwest region of the United States and the Canadian province of British Columbia. In northern Wisconsin, Lakota Indians know the creature by the name Chiye-tanka, a Lakota name for "Big Elder Brother". Bigfoot is sometimes described as a large, hairy bipedal hominoid, and many believe that this animal, or its close relatives, may be found around the world under different regional names, such as the Yeti of Tibet and Nepal, the Yeren of mainland China, and the Yowie of Australia. Bigfoot is one of the more famous examples of cryptozoology, a subject that the scientific community classifies as pseudoscience because of unreliable eyewitness accounts, lack of scientific and physical evidence, and over-reliance on confirmation rather than refutation. Scientific experts on the matter consider the Bigfoot legend to be a combination of folklore and hoaxes. Despite that status, Bigfoot is nevertheless a popular symbol, including as "Quatchi," one of the mascots of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, and to name both a provincial park and the annual Sasquatch Daze event in Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia." • Bigfoot does exist. There is no proof of this because he's really good at hide and seek... I mean Really Good. World Class Good. If there was a Hide and Seek contest at the Olympics he's win gold every time. On second thought, maybe there IS an Olympic contests for Hide and Seek, and they are all JUST THAT GOOD.....
  • yes bigfoot really does exist

  • here in Northern California there are people who swear to have seen bigfoot. They even have gas stations named after it and gift shops. My friend who lived in the boonies swears he saw one but could smell it before he saw it. He said it has a weird smell that he had never smelled before.
  • It is a matter of belief over what is thought to be fiction, yes I believe there are some out there, you could go out into the bush 1000000 times and never see a cougar, but if some one hadn't shot one or photographed one it very well may be in the same boat. The problem comes from the hoaxes, people all trying to get rich off of it. Now most people believe that it is all one big hoax.

  • Depends on what you take for evidence. The Bigfoot website lists something like 400 eyewitness accounts and casts of several footprints. There is the famous footage from the 1970's that has never been debunked largely because no one can explain how the feet work. (It's impossible for costume feet to operate like a normal foot. They all act like clown shoes.) Draw your own conclusions.
  • Most pairs of conjoined legs have one foot that is bigger than the other, so yes each of us has a Big Foot! ;) And yes to Sasquatch too :)
  • Actually I have two of them! LOL
  • I don't believe it until I actually see the proof.

  • Theres a Bigfoot in my house we call him flipper slippers lol size 12 feet
  • There is no definite answer. In some rural areas where they are believed to be found people who live in the area acknowledge their existence. large footprints have been found and there are something like 400 eyewitness reports. The hoaxes have complicated the issue, but there is enough evidence to keep the question open.
