  • I think there is some out there on both sides, and wholeheartedly believe we will be seeing more on both sides, not always from the candidates or campaign, supporters sometimes do alot of damage to the person they support without meaning to. The type you are talking about I have seen and think basically because McCain has been around for a long time in the public eye so most people know something about him. With Obama being newer in the U.S. Senate and politics, he is an easier target, there are plenty of people who don't want him just because of the color of his skin, there is no shortage of racism, living in a post 9/11 world his Fathers heritage and all has been something that people pounced on the guy is an easier target, there are people who really are more vulnerable to believe some of that negative propaganda. I think in the end it helps him more and hopefully helps all of us with re-examining our beliefs and hopefully in a good way.
  • It would appear that the Republicans have a greater tendency to fight dirty than the Democrats.
  • +4 to offset the DR That same propaganda is what keeps Americans believing that the war on terror isn't a euphemism. The thing to remember though is that the candidates would never condone or personally instigate those kind of smears, so even though it is decidedly one-sided keep in mind that the propaganda is not their doing. Don't let it affect your decision either way.
  • because many people know that obama can change america so they want to stop him for some reasons they want to complete destroying america by vote to McMain . these poeple are the companies of weapons and oil which make billions from iraq and afganastan and the want more and more. when taking about islam many people talk about without about islam to know what it means all this performed by media which controled by enemies of islam. if u want to know the right islam u can get into www.islamonline.net or mail me at campon_mac@yahoo.com
  • your not paying attention their is plenty anti McCain/palin
  • Because McCain is not a democrat and that's just something republicans do...propaganda
  • Because when all is said and done republicans are worse about calling a democratic candidate names, than democrats are about returning the favor. Although there are some really good anti-palin ones out there, I know, I wrote one or two.
  • To be short, McCain has nothing to hide. On the other hand, Obama is another story...
  • Because Obama supporters are above that.
  • Because there are so many unanswered questions about Obama.
  • You need to get out more if you are not hearing any anti McCain stuff. What rock are you living under?
  • Racists and other fools mostly are Republican.
  • What paper's or news are you watching. Except fox and cnn media is all pro Obama
  • Obama provides lots of new material, new fodder. I think it's more fun to rip our next president apart. And this is just the beginning. He just kicked three reporters from conservative papers off his press plane and replaced them with reports from Jet and Essence Mags, BTW....to cover the election of the 1st BLACK Prez -- That should be good for something. McCain's stuff is same old same old, though certainly, there's no shortage.
  • As an anarchist, I stand neither to the left nor the right of the political divide. Anarchism spans the entire left/right spectrum, and I have beliefs which many would consider "far left" (property is theft from the commons; all power to the people and none to the State), and "far right" (people are responsible for their actions; it is not only a right but a responsibility to bear arms). As someone who holds both liberal and conservative positions, I often find myself debating opposite sides of the same argument with different people, depending on their beliefs, because there is an intrinsic difference between the way people on the left and people on the right think. In the Aristotlean model, there are three ways to convince someone of an argument: appeal to logic (logos), appeal to emotion (pathos), and appeal to morality (ethos). On the left, people are motivated primarily by logos. They read Chomsky, they'll spend hours stolidly debating the facts, and when a problem presents itself they'll run straight for the statistics. On the right, people are motivated primarily by pathos. They salute the flag, they care about their communities, and they want to feel good about what they do. When faced with a problem, they do what feels good and right. The problem is that neither side understands what motivates the other. Leftists are constantly trying to convince rightwingers by presenting them with lists of dry facts and statistics and are baffled when their pie charts and line diagrams are ignored. They conclude rightwingers are just stupid. Rightwingers are constantly trying to convince leftists by waving flags and talking about loyalty and giving rousing, heart-stirring speeches. They conclude that leftists are just cold and contrary. There are equal amounts of propaganda coming from the left and the right. You just don't see it because leftist propagands consists of facts and figures, which are invisible to you. You see it as just plain common sense. Likewise, someone on the other side of the political spectrum would see all kinds of nonsense statistics emanating from the Obama camp as propaganda, while being totally oblivious to the emotional propaganda from his own side because to him, it's just plain common sense. Sorry to be so long-winded, but this problem is central to the vicious and seemingly insoluable dichotomy which has split Western culture down the middle, and I've spent a long time thinking about it.
  • You got the liberal media doing that already
