What is the best mascara to use for a false lash effect? I used to use Rimmel's Xtreme Volume but they stopped making it :-( I now use Maxfactor Max but I wondered what other people use!

Hey hun, The best false lash mascara EVER is Dior 'Diorshow' mascara which you can buy from any Dior counter. It's around £18 and comes in blue, black, brown and is amazing. OI know its pricey but it makes your eyelashes huge, thick, gorgeous and WATERPROOF! Its got a big fat brush and lasts for ages as it's a very generous size. Good luck! x

I use telescopic lash Makes them really long but not very thick for thickness I use one called turbo boost

I went to the shops on my lunchbreak to buy the normal Diorshow mascara. When I got there, the lady behind the counter said that the Iconic one is so much better. I got a free sample which I will try out tonight! I'll let you know what I think. Sorry I am adding a new answer, it won't let me add a comment even though I have requested confirmation, grrr.

I have now tried the Diorshow Iconic mascara and it does separate the lashes, curl them a bit and make them longer - but I still need the volume as my lashes are short and thin and I still would like the false lash effect! Would you recommend the normal Diorshow to do this?

I LOVE Cover girl Lash Blast in black. It is a good volume product.If you want big pretty lashes? Well if your not born with them, this is my recipe! Use a lash curler at the base of your lashes. Pump it at the base 4 x's. Lean your head back and use"L'real telescopic" product on your lashes.Draw your lashes out, gently. Then switch to CG lash blast. Do a 2nd coat. Do it from the base to the tips. You will love how big and lush your lashes will look!
