Do you find it annoying when an answer contains several lines of greetings before and after the answer?

Hi Yarnlady! I hope you're doing great! Nope, I really don't find it annoying because there might be people who are just like that in real life. I'd rather have those greetings than the offensive comments that a few users here are so fond of posting. Enjoy the rest of the day, Yarnlady! See you around! :):):)

Actually, kinda. It really depends. Keithold always has a greeting and a thanks, but it isn't annoying at all, and completely fits his formal but genuinely polite disposition, if indeed that's what it is. But there's some who leave their entire life story at the end of each and every single answer that they make, and sometimes it's longer than the answer itself. I mean come on. :/ But that's not to say that these members don't post any good questions or answers, certainly far from it with the two people I have in mind. But it is kinda annoying when it's too long. Although it's completely harmless, and to each his own. As stated already, I'd rather get that than ''go kill yourself'' or ''you're an embarrassment''. :/ It just seems kinda arrogant to leave stuff like that and figure that everyone always wants to see it every time you post something.
