  • Here's what I suggest: There may be a "vanity publisher" who will publish your book in an "on-line" form. Instead of "going for the whole ball of wax" find Qs on the AB subjects your book is written about and adapt your answers to those Qs. You don't know who is going to read your answers. If you decide to "jump-in with both feet", you might be sitting on unsold copies of your book for a VERY long time. Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it! VTY, Ron Berue Yes, that is my real last name! Sources: Because you asked. Some personal observations.
  • A really great source is a book called the Chrildren's Writer's Market: http://www.amazon.com/2008-Childrens-Writers-Illustrators-Market/dp/1582975043/ref=pd_sim_b_4 It not only offers good, solid up-to-date advice but lists all major publishers and what their submission requirements are. If I recall correctly, it also lists agents. For $18, it's a sound investment. Good luck.
