My wife and I are always making ends meet. I work alot during the week but it never stops us being together with our 5 month old even its just taking a walk tell him that the baby is not gone to be young forever and walking gets your mind off your problems.

If you work too much the quality of your work suffers, you should take breaks as they help your brain be more efficient.

Ding things with the family is just as important as earning money. You should talk to him, he needs to be around his family more often, and if his work doesnt let him he should consider switching jobs. It would be for the best anyway since you dont have the money that you would like to have. good luck

so he's working too much, weekends included? first ask would you and your unit be able to survive if he didnt work on weekends? If so then he really needs to know that a man isnt only successful by his income. He should familial success as well. If that means going on a Sunday stroll with his lovely girl and son then he should.

It's a tough call, but I do think families (with or without children) suffer if they don't spend time together. It's easy to get sucked into the work thing, and I know that bills have to be paid, but these sorts of apparently minor issues now can grow over time into major resentment and worse. So, I guess I'm saying that you should definitely try to find a way to spend time together, even if it does mean having to give up something that the extra money buys.
