Well depends on your guests...your boss...serve it...your friends....clean it up and explained to them what happened and why you are one dish short...

Yes you do. My guests aren't fussy at all, I hope yours are convivial. Have a great Thanksgiving Zazzy!

It really depends on when I last cleaned the floor. In general, yeah, probably I would serve it.

Just bung it back! They won't know! (unless there is all hair and dust in it)

Nope...I'd gag and couldn't eat it knowing what happened. If I have 5 minutes I can prepare something else...maybe a plate of raw veggies. Guests don't usually go right to the table to eat the minute they arrive. Usually they have appetizers/drinks beforehand. During that time I would be able to come up with something. But even if I couldn't I would never serve floor food! Happy Monday! :)

No. I would throw it all out and tell my guests about my boo boo. If they are not starved, then I may have time to make another side dish for our dinner. Or we can double up on dessert! :-)

  • I would probably try to scoop up as much as I could of the portion that didn't meet with the floor directly. Then pray no dust bunnies jumped in when I wasn't looking.
