  • Sure, quite a few. My favorite is when our Cub Scout group had a kite flying thing. All for fun, and stuff, and I just couldn't get mine to fly. My older brother took over, and I got a Blue Ribbon for "Remote Control". A joke ribbon, but still counted.
  • I have a bunch of ribbons from swim meets, but that's because everybody gets one for each event they swim. I also have a blue ribbon for a piano festival thing, but everybody got those that year too.
  • Pinewood Derbys yo...
  • There was this art fair. Tons of artwork. 15 Blue Ribbons 3 Red Ribbons (2nd place) 1 White Ribbon (3rd. lame.) And then I got a best in show award. I was pretty proud of myself. ~+~

  • Yeah, i won a science bowl, a math-a-thon, a few chess tournaments, plus i have a few trophies from playing basketball and soccer.
  • what is a blue ribbon, or rather, what does it mean?
  • I won a blue ribbon (1st place) in the state fair for a counted cross-stitch of rain forests that I did several years ago. I also won an honorable mention in the same state fair for a quilt I made. Several years ago, I talked my husband into building me a cook station and I entered the Group Therapy Chili Cook-off to benefit Babcock Center. We didn't win, place or show that year, but I won a ribbon as "judge's favorite" for my white chicken chili. I also won 1st prize and official title as "Grits Champion of SC" in the SCE&G energy center's grits cooking contest, a title I hold to this day!
