I'd imagine you could do an hour or two at night after work and just go to bed later, or get a couple of hours in on the weekend around those tag sales. I find that when you really want to do something, there's always time. And when you don't, there never is;)

Stay up a little later one night a week. Going to bed so early is probably a sign of depression. It isn't healthy to work so much. That inbalance is probably feeding your depression. Something has got to give, and you mental health is what is giving right now. If you want to feel better, you are going to have to change something. Give up something, make the change and you'll feel a whole lot better. The inability to make a move is both a sign of depression and probably feeding the depression. Make an executive decision and follow through on it. Just taking back some control will help. Part of depression is feeling out-of-control. So grab that control of your life back!

Find another therapist, because you need to take time for yourself and relax! Find a lake site cabin and take a long weekend and just decompress!

Two thoughts. First, why not make AB your charity group? There are so many people on here that can use a person like you!!! That in itself IS charity work! Second, there is a possibility that you are underdiagnosed. I only say this because I was diagnosed with depression and I DID get on medication. It took another 9 years before I finally figured out that my lack of motivation was due to my also being bi-polar. So many people are in the same boat! They are bipolar, too, but were undiagnosed. If you are just beginning a medication therapy, then give it at least 4-6 weeks before even considering the above statements. It is important that you find the right anti-depressants before worrying about anything else.

This is just another typically weak suggestion by a therapist. I wouldn't do it. Read something by Tony Robbins instead. You'll find real answers to your problems.
